This diploma trains students to carry out diagnostic testing on blood, body fluids, and tissue samples used to detect illness and monitor health. Admission Requirements: Admission requires an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), with the majority of Grade 11 and 12 courses at the C, U or M level, including Grade 12 English at the C or U level, Grade 12 Math at the C or U level, Grade 12 Chemistry at the C or U level (or SCH3U), and Grade 11 or 12 Biology at the C or U level. English-language proficiency follows the institution's requirement for certificate, diploma and advanced-diploma programmes: IELTS Academic overall 6.0 with no band below 5.5, TOEFL iBT 78, PTE Academic 55, or Duolingo English Test 110 overall with no sub-score below 85; domestic applicants meet it through the Grade 12 English prerequisite. The programme states admission is highly competitive and that meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee a seat; applications must be complete, with all transcripts and proof of enrolment submitted by the college's February 1 Equal Consideration Date. Applicants missing the academic prerequisites may enrol in the college's Career/College Prep programme, free for Ontario residents 18 or older.
