Program details

Overview

The supply chain is one of the most essential sectors of the Canadian economy, involving about 767,000 workers from a range of occupations and industries. The success of this sector in meeting its human resources and labour-market challenges has the potential to positively influence the future of Canada, and the quality of life that we all enjoy (Canadian Supply Chain Sector Council). This graduate certificate program builds on the student’s previous education and work experience and introduces all facets of supply chain management and logistics from a theoretical and practical perspective. Program participants are provided with a comprehensive understanding of the principles and techniques considered essential for employment in this sector and benefit from an integrated field placement opportunity upon completion of the course work.

Requirements

Admission Requirements: Admission requires a two- or three-year college diploma, a university degree, or an equivalent credential; applicants with transcripts from outside Canada are directed to the college's transcript-evaluation guidance. Domestic applicants who fall short of the minimum academic standard may request an alternate admission assessment, though submitting one does not guarantee a place. The programme page does not publish its own English-language threshold, so the institution's Graduate Certificate-level requirement applies: IELTS Academic overall 6.5 with no band below 6.0, TOEFL iBT 83 (4.5 overall for tests from 21 January 2026), TOEFL Computer-based 220, CAEL overall 60, Duolingo English Test overall 120 with no sub-score below 95, PTE Academic 60, or Cambridge English 180, per St. Lawrence College's admission-requirements page. No portfolio, interview, or work-experience condition is stated for this programme.

Application Details

Application Deadline: Domestic applicants apply through ontariocolleges.ca: for programmes starting September 2027 the application opens 26 September 2026, the equal-consideration date is 1 February 2027, and later applications are assessed first-come, first-served while seats remain; St. Lawrence College names Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Communicative Disorders Assistant, Medical Laboratory Science and Practical Nursing as highly competitive, requiring transcripts and proof of enrolment by the same 1 February date to be ranked. International applicants apply through SLC's own International Application Service and are assessed on a rolling basis; the college publishes no fixed international closing date, and each Letter of Acceptance carries its own accept-and-pay deadline. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
