Overview
St. Thomas University's Psychology program covers the scientific study of behaviour and mental processes, with faculty expertise spanning biological, clinical, developmental, learning and cognition, and social and personality psychology. Admission Requirements: The Psychology concentration publishes no admission requirements of its own; entry runs through St. Thomas's general Bachelor of Arts requirements. Canadian high school applicants need graduation with a minimum 70% average on five successfully completed Grade 12 academic courses, including Grade 12 academic English (or French for Francophone-school applicants) and four Grade 12 academic electives from STU's approved list; meeting the minimums does not guarantee admission. International applicants must show academic strength comparable to Canadian applicants and are encouraged to apply by June 1 for September entry or October 1 for January entry. Applicants whose primary language is not English must submit TOEFL, IELTS, MELAB, CAEL, Duolingo or PTE Academic scores: a full course load requires TOEFL 89 (writing 4.5), IELTS 6.5, MELAB 80, CAEL 60, Duolingo 115 or PTE 62+.

Application Deadline:Domestic applicants apply directly to St. Thomas University: for September 2027 entry the general application deadline is 31 August 2027, and the scholarship deadline is 1 March 2027; a small number of students are admitted for January entry, with admission beginning in October. Applicants to the Bachelor of Education must apply by 1 December 2026, and Bachelor of Social Work applicants by 31 January 2027. International applicants are encouraged to submit by 1 June for September entry or 1 October for January entry; later applications are accepted but risk insufficient time for study-permit processing, so admission runs rolling beyond those dates. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
