The Child & Family Ministry Certificate (Two-Year) provides competency for ministry in local churches focused on children and family issues, rooted in Scripture and in educational and care-based approaches to ministry. Delivered over two years, it extends the content of the college's one-year Child & Family Ministry Certificate with additional coursework. Learning outcomes include understanding the importance of children's and family ministry, demonstrating teaching methods, identifying contemporary issues affecting children and families, and nurturing Spirit-led ministry practice. The certificate suits students seeking a more extensive credential in children's and family ministry than the one-year certificate, combining theological grounding with applied ministry and teaching skills, and preparing graduates for longer-term or leadership roles in children's and family programmes. On completion, Summit Pacific College awards a two-year Certificate.
