Occupational Therapy: Master's Degree (MOT) - UBCV

Admission Requirements: UBC's admission page for this Master of Occupational Therapy sets the Faculty's minimum overall average in the B+ range (76% at UBC), and requires a recognised baccalaureate degree in any field, academically equivalent to a UBC four-year Bachelor's degree, which may still be in progress at the deadline provided it is finished by April 30 of the application year. By that same date applicants must also complete three prerequisite courses: gross human anatomy of the upper and lower limbs and trunk, one Sociology, Anthropology or Human Geography course, and one Psychology course, plus a minimum of 70 hours of interactive volunteer or paid work with people with disabilities across no more than two facilities, officially documented. Applicants from outside Canada whose prior institution did not teach in English, tested within 24 months, must submit IELTS Academic overall 7.5 with no section below 7.0, TOEFL iBT overall 100, or Duolingo overall 140. Two references, a statement of interest, a criminal record check and an immunisation review are also required.
