The Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering is highly interdisciplinary in nature, and supports inquiry-based and creative learning through the development of skills to identify, formulate, and solve complex engineering problems by methods that include appropriate experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of information.

Admission Requirements: First-year entry to the Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering requires BC Grade 12 (or equivalent) with English 12 or English 12 First Peoples at a minimum of 73%, Pre-Calculus 12 at a minimum of 67%, Chemistry 11 at a minimum of 67%, and Physics 11 at a minimum of 67% (Physics 12 at 67% is preferred). Applicants with completed university coursework may instead enter after one year of post-secondary science-related study with a minimum 3.0 GPA, B grades in mathematics, physics and chemistry courses, and C+ in English, subject to approval by the TRU Engineering undergraduate admission committee; those who completed the Common First-Year Engineering Curriculum with a C or better in every course are guaranteed second-year entry. The page states no standardized English-proficiency test score for domestic applicants and directs prerequisite-evaluation queries to the engineering department; international applicants otherwise meet English through TRU's published direct-entry minimums of IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL iBT 88.
