Information Technology Certificate

Admission Requirements: The Certificate in Information Technology, delivered through TRU Open Learning, recommends but does not strictly require a provincial Grade 12 diploma or equivalent for admission. The programme page sets no minimum grade, GPA, or standardised English-language test score such as IELTS or TOEFL, and states no portfolio, interview or work-experience condition. A minimum of 6 TRU credits (online or on-campus) is required toward residency for the credential; as with TRU's other Open Learning offerings, applicants ultimately still need to satisfy the university's general undergraduate admission bases to be admitted to Thompson Rivers University itself.
