Overview
This degree program provides students with the opportunity to study both computing science and mathematics in depth. Students who complete this program will have the combined computer and mathematics skills to be successful in both industry and academic environments. Graduates will be well qualified for a wide range of employment opportunities, for further study in advanced degrees and for research positions.

Admission Requirements: Computing Science and Mathematics is a Bachelor of Science major at Thompson Rivers University, admitted through the Faculty of Science's course-specific route on top of TRU's general undergraduate entry bases (recognised secondary graduation, 12 or more transferable post-secondary credits, or mature-student status). Domestic English is met with English Studies 12 or English First Peoples 12 at a minimum of 73%, or equivalently ESAL 0570 with ESAL 0580, or ENGL 0600/0601; international applicants instead meet TRU's direct-entry minimums of IELTS 6.5 (no band below 6.0) or TOEFL iBT 88 (no section below 20). The Bachelor of Science first-year science block requires Chemistry 11, Pre-calculus 12 at a minimum C+ completed within the past two years, and Physics 11 (or TRU's PHYS 1130).
