Master of Science (Nutrition-Food Science)

The Master of Science in Nutrition-Food Science (M. Sc.) is a graduate degree offered by Universite de Moncton at its Moncton campus, requiring a minimum of two years of full-time study, or up to five consecutive years part-time, to complete its 45 credits. The program trains students in applied and fundamental research and intervention in nutrition and food science, deepening subject knowledge and developing critical-analysis skills. Thirty-three mandatory credits comprise a research seminar and a 30-credit thesis based on an original research project supervised by a faculty member, complemented by nine elective credits in nutrition-food science and statistics and three credits in a non-discipline course. Graduates are prepared to design and conduct independent research and pursue further study or research-focused careers in nutrition and food science.
