Overview
The Master of Science, Applied in Human Nutrition (Non-Thesis) is offered by the School of Human Nutrition in the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences at McGill University. The program is available through three options: a Dietetics Credentialing option that includes a 40-week internship and leads to eligibility to practise as a registered dietitian in Canada; a Practicum option for registered dietitians who have completed a dietetics internship and want to develop an advanced area of practice; and a Project option, a mainly course-based track with a research project in clinical, community, or international and experimental nutrition. Research facilities include the Centre for Indigenous Peoples' Nutrition and Environment, the McGill Institute for Global Food Security, and the Clinical Nutrition Research Unit. The Dietetics option is accredited by the Partnership for Dietetic Education and Practice and recognized by the Ordre des diététistes-nutritionnistes du Québec.

Minimum GPA:3.30 / 4.0
Admission Requirements: Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree from a recognized university in a subject closely related to the intended graduate program, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3 out of 4.0. The Dietetics Credentialing option requires a minimum entrance GPA of 3.5 out of 4.0 and French-language proficiency at level B2, since the mandatory internship is completed in French-language settings.
