This Bachelor of Education in Secondary Science and Technology Teaching gives students a solid grounding in chemistry, physics, or biology, with a chosen disciplinary focus alongside coursework spanning all three sciences and integrative projects combining didactics with the sciences. The 123-credit, four-year full-time program runs on UdeM's Montreal campus with daytime courses, progressing from an introduction to the teaching discipline and secondary school in year one through classroom intervention and professional insertion by year four. Students complete 700 hours of mandatory internship, use a dedicated didactics laboratory to design experiments, build a reflective portfolio, and present a capstone project at a multi-program colloquium. The program has limited enrolment capacity. International applicants are welcome, subject to a CAD 1,000 deposit after accepting an offer and an exemption bursary throughout their studies. Practicum placements require a criminal record check and certain vaccinations.
