This Bachelor of Education in Secondary French Teaching provides solid disciplinary training in Francophone literature and linguistics together with the pedagogical and didactic tools to develop secondary students' French-language skills. The 123-credit, four-year full-time program runs on UdeM's Montreal campus with daytime courses, structured across four years from an introduction to the teaching discipline through student-learning strategies, classroom intervention, and professional insertion. Students complete 700 hours of supervised internship closely tied to coursework and build a reflective portfolio over the program. Enrolment capacity is limited, and the credential is accredited by Quebec's teacher education accreditation committee, leading to a professional teaching certificate.
