The Baccalauréat en kinésiologie is a 90-credit undergraduate program preparing students to evaluate physical capacity, analyze human movement, and design and prescribe adapted physical-activity programs for recreational, preventive, rehabilitation, or high-performance purposes; the program explicitly does not train physical educators for primary or secondary schools. The regular track combines 75 mandatory credits with 15 elective credits and includes a mandatory six-credit internship, while an honours track adds 12 credits with a research component for students preparing for graduate study. The program is delivered full-time through day courses in person at Université de Montréal's Montreal campus. Admission is based on Quebec CEGEP diplomas, a minimum of 12 completed university credits for university-track applicants, or equivalent international qualifications, and is decided solely on academic record among eligible candidates; a mandatory motivation questionnaire, subject to an additional evaluation fee, can also eliminate applicants. Applicants must demonstrate French proficiency through prior French-language study, a recognized diploma, or an accepted standardized test score.
