MA/MS in Maîtrise en kinésiologie

This is a 45-credit Master's programme (Maitrise) in Kinesiology at the Universite de Montreal, completed over a minimum of three trimesters full-time (maximum six trimesters, or two years, part-time), delivered through day and evening courses with mandatory internships. Students develop competencies to design, promote, and implement kinesiology interventions across professional settings, choosing among four options: General, Physical Preparation, Physical Activity Promotion, and Retraining of Symptomatic Populations. Admission requires a bachelor's degree in kinesiology or an equivalent field, a curriculum vitae, and a motivation letter; candidates whose academic background differs from kinesiology must explain in the letter their reasons for pursuing the programme and their professional objectives. Applicants schooled otherwise than in French must demonstrate French proficiency through prior education or standardized test results, reaching a minimum of C1 in oral and written comprehension and B2+ in written expression, along with a working knowledge of English for reading comprehension.
