MA/MS in Maîtrise en éducation, option Générale

This graduate program leads to a Master's degree in education, general option, from Universite de Montreal, delivered on the Montreal campus in French with day and evening course options. The 45-credit, course-based program (without thesis) lets students build a personalized plan of study addressing current issues in education, drawing on courses in areas such as education administration and systems, change management in education, didactics and subject-matter integration, and the pedagogical integration of technology. Admission is restricted to students already admitted to another program within the Faculty of Education at Universite de Montreal; applicants must demonstrate a good command of French. The maximum full-time completion period is six trimesters (two years), extending to nine trimesters half-time or twelve trimesters part-time. The program suits education professionals already within the Faculty who want to deepen specific professional competencies rather than pursue a new specialization from outside the faculty.
