PGDip in DESS en enseignement supérieur

This Diplôme d'études supérieures spécialisées (DESS) in higher education helps education professionals better understand their professional environment in order to act more effectively within it, through two concentrations: teaching and administration in higher-education settings. It is aimed at instructors, administrators, and other professionals working in colleges and universities who want to strengthen their practice through applied study of the higher-education context. Courses are offered full-time and part-time, with day and evening sections, and intakes are held across the Fall, Winter, and Summer trimesters. Full-time study takes a minimum of two trimesters, with up to four years allowed from initial registration. Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree and, as of Winter 2026, meet a new French-language admission requirement that varies by prior education; recognition of experiential learning is available toward admission.
