This graduate diploma trains specialists to evaluate the impact of health technologies on individuals, organizations, and health systems, covering efficacy, safety, cost, and the broader medical, social, legal, ethical, and economic implications of health interventions. The 30-credit programme is delivered full-time or part-time through day courses at the Montreal campus, with a minimum full-time completion of two trimesters and a maximum of four years, beginning in the Fall term. Coursework builds methodological skills for assessing new and existing health technologies, combining health-economics, biostatistics, and policy-analysis methods to inform clinical, organizational, and reimbursement decisions across the health system. Graduates are prepared for roles in health-technology assessment agencies, hospitals, government health departments, and consulting firms, applying rigorous evaluation methods to healthcare innovation and resource-allocation decisions.
