This 90-credit programme is a two-year DEC-BAC pathway to a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, delivered in-person, full-time, at the Drummondville campus under an extension agreement with UQAT, for holders of a DEC in social work techniques completed within the previous 5 years. Coursework totals 81 mandatory credits (51 core credits plus 30 credited from the DEC) and 9 elective credits, including two 9-credit practical internships. The curriculum deepens theoretical knowledge and develops a holistic analytical capacity for social situations within their social, political, economic, and environmental context, preparing graduates as reflective, versatile practitioners for intervention with individuals, families, groups, and communities, and for entry into the professional order (OTSTCFQ). Applicants with a collegial R-score of 24.5 or higher receive 30 university credit equivalencies from their DEC. Admission is offered for the fall term only, is capped at 30 places, and is not open to international applicants.
