This certificate follows on from a general accounting certificate and develops the ability to capture and analyse the accounting data essential to running a business, including the comparative evaluation of accounting information and enterprise operations that feeds into accounting-management policy. It partially meets the training requirements of the Ordre des comptables professionnels agrees (CPA). Delivered on the Trois-Rivieres, Longueuil and Terrebonne campuses, full-time or part-time across up to three sessions a year, the 30-credit programme builds directly on prior accounting coursework. Admission requires a general accounting certificate from Trois-Rivieres, Terrebonne or Longueuil, or an equivalent, completed with a cumulative average of at least 2.0 on a 4.3 scale; the same requirement applies to equivalent credentials for applicants from outside Quebec. Graduates may receive up to one year of credit recognition toward the Baccalaureat en sciences comptables. Admission is offered in the fall, winter and summer terms without an enrolment cap, and the programme is open to international applicants, who must study full-time and obtain a Quebec Acceptance Certificate (CAQ) and study permit before arrival.
