This 90-credit programme leads to a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) and is designed exclusively for students who have already completed at least 60 credits in a UQTR bachelor's programme in engineering, nursing, or midwifery practice, or in a first-cycle professional doctorate, and who wish to redirect their studies into a general science credential rather than continue toward a regulated profession. The curriculum builds a foundational scientific education combining 3 to 9 credits in research methods, epidemiology, or statistics; 15 to 45 credits of core science courses spanning anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, immunology, microbiology, pharmacology, physics, chemistry, biology, and mathematics; 15 to 45 credits of specialty courses; up to 45 credits of internships; and up to 30 credits of complementary or enrichment courses, with the exact pathway determined individually based on credits already completed. The degree does not provide access to a regulated profession. It is offered full-time and part-time at the Trois-Rivières campus and is not open to international applicants.
