Overview
This 30-credit individualized certificate lets students build a personalized programme of study around a concentration of their choice from more than twenty options in science-related and applied fields, including criminology, gerontology, human-resources management (offered with HEC Montreal), international cooperation, workplace health and safety, mental health, and other intervention specialties. Courses are offered primarily in the evenings and on weekends, in class or online, and the programme accommodates full-time or part-time study. It is delivered by the Faculty of Continuing Education and suits students seeking a flexible, self-directed credential built around a specific area of interest. Two concentrations, creativity and innovation and early childhood and family, are not currently available for new admissions. The certificate can also serve as one component of a cumulative bachelor's degree.
