Overview
This 30-credit certificate builds on prior accounting or management coursework, offered at the Montreal, Laval, and Longueuil campuses on a full-time or part-time basis with fall, winter, and summer admission. Nine mandatory courses (27 credits) and one elective course (3 credits) cover financial accounting, management accounting, taxation, financial decision-making, operations management, and governance, risk management, and internal control, giving students a broad grounding across the core functional areas of accounting practice. Conditional admission is available to candidates who have not yet met the credit requirement but complete the foundational courses SCO1045 and SCO2045 first. Because entry requires prior university-level coursework in accounting or management, the certificate is designed as a progression rather than a first introduction to the field. Requirements
