Overview

This 45-credit master's degree in business administration is awarded by cumulation rather than through direct enrolment: students earn the M.Adm. by completing one of seven approved combinations pairing a diplome d'etudes superieures specialisees (DESS) with a graduate certificate (programme court) in a related management field. Both components must be completed within a maximum of ten years. The degree provides bachelor's graduates and working professionals with specialized training in a specific area of administration, building on coursework already completed in the underlying DESS and certificate programmes rather than requiring a separate curriculum. Admission is not sought for this credential directly; students who have finished, or are finishing, an eligible DESS-certificate pairing apply to have the master's degree conferred. Eligibility for the underlying components is based on a bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience, supported by official transcripts and, for experience-based routes, a curriculum vitae and employment attestation. The programme is offered on the Trois-Rivieres campus and is coordinated by the graduate management programme office.

Requirements

Admission Requirements: Direct admission is not available: the master's is obtained by completing one of seven approved DESS-plus-graduate-certificate combinations in administration within ten years, and applicants pursue admission to those component programmes rather than to this degree itself. Each component requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent, or admission on the basis of relevant professional experience supported by a curriculum vitae, an employment attestation, and official transcripts from all postsecondary institutions attended.
