Université du Québec en Outaouais offers BA/BS in Business Administration, a bachelor's degree in Business Administration programme in Gatineau, Canada. The programme runs for 3 years, delivered on campus. It carries 90.0 credits. Tuition for international students is CAD 24,737 per year (CAD 3,118 per year for local students).
This Bachelor of Business Administration builds a common foundation across human resource management, accounting and financial management, marketing, operations, and strategic management, then lets students choose a concentration or a generalist pathway suited to their interests. The 90-credit program is completed over three years, offered full-time or part-time at the Gatineau campus, with admission available in fall, winter, and summer terms. Five concentrations are offered: entrepreneurship, finance, real estate management and evaluation, management and human resources, and marketing, and students can pursue an approved workplace internship (stage en entreprise) alongside their coursework. The curriculum incorporates contemporary business themes such as globalization, technological change, and ethical decision-making within the core management disciplines rather than treating them as separate add-ons. The program is designed for holders of a CEGEP diploma or equivalent, students with prior university credits at a minimum grade average, and, from a later admission cycle, applicants with several years of professional administration experience. The combination of a shared management core, a distinct real estate concentration less common at comparable business schools, and an optional supervised internship gives students both breadth across business functions and a path toward specialized or general management careers.
Requirements
Minimum GPA:2.20 / 4.33
Admission Requirements: Admission runs through three pathways. From a Quebec DEC or equivalent, applicants must pass at least one college-level mathematics course — Calcul differentiel, Algebre lineaire et geometrie vectorielle, Complements mathematiques, or Statistiques — or, lacking this, complete UQO's MQT1203 Elements de mathematiques pour la gestion. The university-studies pathway requires at least 15 completed university credits with a cumulative average of 2.2/4.3, plus the same mathematics requirement. A work-experience pathway is currently suspended through summer 2027, with applicants directed to the certificate program; from fall 2027 it will require at least four years (48 months) of full-time work in administration plus equivalent knowledge. All applicants must demonstrate sufficient French, met by the ministerial DEC French exam, UQO's own test, or an equivalent francophone-university exam, with compensatory measures available. Apply through UQO's online admission portal.
Application Details
Start Date:September, January and May
Application Deadline:UQO currently publishes deadlines only for the term now open, which as of mid-September 2026 is winter 2027 entry. Domestic applicants (Canadian citizens and permanent residents) apply directly to UQO: regular undergraduate and certificate programmes close 1 December 2026, while co-operative-education bachelor's programmes and all graduate programmes close 15 October 2026, with admission decisions issued from August onward. International applicants had an earlier cut-off of 1 August 2026 for winter 2027 entry; as of the fetch date that window has already closed for most programmes, and several programmes are not open to international applicants for this term at all. UQO has not yet published fall 2027 dates, and none of these deadlines are rolling; all are firm cut-offs. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
