This bachelor of science program (91 credits, three years full-time) provides a foundation in general and applied biology, with six specialization concentrations including ecology, cellular and molecular biology, and conservation. Coursework develops research methodology, field-work skills, and scientific communication. Students who meet the required science prerequisites in biology, chemistry, mathematics, and physics proceed directly into coursework; applicants missing prerequisites may need additional preparatory courses after document review. The program is taught in French, with admission open for both Fall and Winter terms. Graduates pursue careers in biology-related fields such as environmental management, conservation, and applied research, or continue to graduate studies in biology or related sciences. The program combines classroom instruction with field-based and laboratory coursework across its six areas of specialization.
