— it helps other students.
This professional Master's program trains students to exercise clinical judgment on the adaptation difficulties and adaptive capacities of diverse client groups, and to design, implement, and evaluate intervention plans. Graduates qualify to practice as a psychoeducateur/psychoeducatrice. Training combines coursework with supervised practicums (stages) that develop clinical and intervention skills across settings such as schools, youth protection, and community services. Course delivery combines distance and hybrid formats. The program totals 45 credits, with a maximum of 19 credits recognized from prior learning, and is designed for full-time completion over two years. Admission is offered for the autumn session only, and priority is given to Universite Laval's own psychoeducation bachelor's graduates through a baccalaureate-master's continuum, with external candidates considered if spaces remain.
