This is a 45-credit research-based Master of Arts in psychopedagogy with a specialization in school adaptation at Universite Laval, aimed at improving pedagogical and educational interventions for students with learning and behavioural difficulties. Students combine theoretical study, intervention strategies, and analysis of pedagogical practice with a thesis, in areas such as literacy and numeracy difficulties, behavioural disorders, hearing and intellectual disabilities, and differentiated pedagogy. Courses are aimed at working professionals and offered mainly in the evenings or at a distance, with some in hybrid or comodal format; at least one term of full-time study is required, and full-time candidates are advised to begin in the fall term. The nominal duration is two years of full-time study, with admission in the fall and winter terms.
