International Studies Certificate

This undergraduate certificate offers an interdisciplinary introduction to global issues through a diverse selection of courses. The 30-credit programme comprises 15 mandatory credits across five required courses and 15 elective credits chosen from more than a dozen optional courses spanning international development, migration, the environment and international communications. Students learn to interpret international issues using appropriate disciplinary knowledge and to combine theoretical understanding with field-oriented know-how. Delivery is entirely at a distance through Université TÉLUQ, Quebec's dedicated distance-education university, allowing self-paced study without fixed classroom sessions. The certificate can stand alone or contribute credits toward a related bachelor's degree, and suits students seeking a broad, multidisciplinary grounding in international studies.
