This 30-credit certificate deepens students' knowledge of Quebec, Canadian, and international politics. It provides a foundational grounding in political science concepts and analysis that can stand alone or complement study in another discipline. The program is nominally one year in length on a full-time basis, but it can also be completed part-time, and up to 15 credits of prior learning may be recognized toward it. Courses may be offered partially or entirely at a distance, giving students flexibility in how they progress through the program. Credits earned may be applied toward related bachelor's programs at the university. The certificate is taught in French and admits students in the Fall, Winter, and Summer terms, making it accessible to students starting at different points in the year.
