The Graduate Certificate in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics, offered through the Haskayne School of Business, builds skills in extracting and interpreting data, managing an organization's information technology requirements, and overseeing the introduction of new technologies. Coursework covers data management, statistical analysis, business analysis, systems analysis and design, change management, and artificial intelligence across four required courses (12 units), completed in-person over eight to ten months. Graduates may ladder their credential into Haskayne's MBA program. Admission requires a four-year bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as business, engineering, mathematics, computer science, or technology, or an MBA, Master of Management, or equivalent degree, along with a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale over the final two years of full-time study. Applicants whose first language is not English must submit a TOEFL iBT score of at least 97 (no section below 20) or an IELTS Academic score of at least 7.0 (minimum 6.0 per section).
