Overview
The DVSc in Pathobiology is an advanced training program for Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) graduates seeking to specialize in clinical or anatomic pathology. The thesis-based program combines clinical training in pathology with original research, completed over approximately nine semesters (three years) full-time, with a part-time option available. It is delivered on-campus in the Department of Pathobiology at the Ontario Veterinary College. Admission requires a DVM or equivalent degree that would make the applicant eligible for licensure to practice veterinary medicine in Ontario. Positions are advertised on the college's career opportunities page and through the American College of Veterinary Pathologists trainee centre. The program admits students in the Fall, Winter and Summer terms, with separate domestic and international application deadlines for each intake.
