Overview
The Master of Professional Accounting (MPAcc) combines a graduate degree with a pathway to the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation, accredited by CPA Ontario. Students complete core modules and electives in assurance and taxation through the CPA Professional Education Program, positioning them to progress to CPA Capstone modules and the Common Final Examination. Instruction combines online coursework with in-person, on-campus classes delivered Monday to Friday. Full-time completion takes between eight and twelve months, depending on whether students enter through the two-semester Fall pathway or the three-semester Summer pathway. Admission requires a four-year honours bachelor's degree with a minimum 73% average from the final two years of study, completion of the CPA Preparatory Courses with at least 60% in each, and a minimum 70% average across the CPA Core Prerequisite Courses. Neither the GMAT nor the GRE is required for admission.
