Students may pursue a thesis-based or course-based Master of Science in Mathematics, or a thesis-based, course-based, or co-op Master of Science in Statistics, with doctoral study in either field following completion of the master's degree. Full-time master's study is normally completed in two years, with original research forming an integral part of doctoral studies. Course offerings are supplemented through the Pacific Institute for the Mathematical Sciences partnership, which provides access to additional online courses.
