Admission Requirements: This University of Victoria English Language Centre program's admission rests on English-language proficiency rather than an academic transcript: the program page accepts an IELTS Academic overall score of 6.0 with no skill below 5.5, an internet-based TOEFL score of 79 with no section below 17 (or an overall 4.0 with no section below 3.5), a CAEL score of 60 with no subscore below 50, an MET score of 58 with no subscore below 53, a Duolingo English Test score of 110 with no subscore below 100, or a passing grade of 80% or higher in Level 500 of the university's own Intensive English (ELPI) program. Test results must be no more than two years old at application.
