Fine Arts is an undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Waterloo, offered as Regular or Co-op. Students choose between two majors: Studio Practice, covering disciplines such as ceramics, painting, print media, photography and technologies including 3D printing, digital imagery and DSLR filmmaking; and Visual Culture, focused on art history and theory. The program offers more than 80 Fine Arts courses, with studio classes capped at 25 students, access to campus art galleries, and international exchange opportunities with more than 75 partner universities. The Co-op option adds paid work terms starting in second year. Graduates pursue careers as practicing artists, designers, curators, arts educators and in related creative and cultural sectors.

Admission Requirements: Ontario applicants: six Grade 12 U and/or M courses including any Grade 12 U English with a minimum final grade of 70%. Admission average: high 70s (Co-op and Regular).
