Overview
Economics, BSc is a four-year Honours program at the University of Windsor that examines how individuals, firms and public agencies shape the overall economy, including the effects of government deficits and spending cuts. The BSc track carries a heavier mathematics component than the university's Economics BA, preparing graduates for quantitative roles in analysis, finance, public policy and further graduate study. Students study core micro- and macroeconomic theory alongside applied topics such as market behaviour, fiscal policy and economic forecasting. The program can be taken as a Combined Honours degree paired with a second subject, or as a Combined Business and Economics option through the Odette School of Business. Graduates pursue careers in economic analysis, banking, government policy, consulting and research, or continue to graduate study in economics, business or public policy.

Admission Requirements: Ontario secondary school applicants need Advanced Functions (MHF4U) and English (ENG4U), with Calculus & Vectors (MCV4U) and Mathematics of Data Management (MDM4U) strongly recommended. The minimum admission average is 70%, including a 70% average in all completed science and math courses. International applicants need the equivalent of Grade 12 English and math at the same level.
