Visual Arts is a four-year Honours Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) program at the University of Windsor delivered through the School of Creative Arts. The curriculum is studio-based, with more than 60% of course time spent in studios and roughly 1,800 hours of studio time per year. Students work across multiple media and have access to specialized facilities through the MakeLab maker space, including a metal shop, wood shop and casting lab, as well as the interdisciplinary INCUBATOR art lab, which explores the intersection of biology, ecology and art. The program combines in-depth studio practice with exhibition opportunities, preparing graduates for careers and further study in the visual arts, including studio practice, exhibition and gallery work, and interdisciplinary creative fields.
