Overview
The PhD in Engineering Materials at the University of Windsor is a research doctorate focused on the physical, mechanical, tribological, chemical, and processing aspects of engineering materials, combining fundamental scientific research with industry research collaborations. Applicants must normally hold a research-based master's degree in engineering or applied science from a recognized university. Required application materials include a resume/CV and a statement of research interests; the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) may be required at the discretion of the Program Graduate Committee. The program admits students for Fall (application deadline July 1), Winter (deadline August 1), and Summer (deadline December 1) entry.
