Overview
Engineering Technology is a four-year Honours degree at the University of Windsor designed for students who already hold a three-year technology diploma from a Canadian college (or an equivalent overseas credential) or a four-year degree in a scientific or technical subject from an accredited Canadian university; it is not open to direct entry from high school. Students choose one of five specialization streams: Civil, Mechanical, Mechatronics or Biomedical Engineering Technology, or a General stream, combining technical coursework with applied, hands-on project work. The Mechatronics stream offers a weekend class option, with classes held Friday evenings and Saturdays. The program bridges technologist-level training with engineering-technology theory, preparing graduates for technical, design and project roles in civil, mechanical, mechatronics and biomedical engineering sectors, or further study.
