The Master of Science in Biological Sciences at the University of Windsor provides research training beyond the undergraduate level in the biological sciences. Students complete a program of coursework — a minimum of two courses — alongside a thesis based on original research, presenting their work in two departmental seminars before a final thesis defence. The program is offered on a full-time basis with research areas spanning the department's faculty specializations. High-performing students may be permitted to transfer directly into the PhD program without completing the MSc. Admission requires a Statement of Research Interest Form in addition to the university's general graduate admission requirements. The program admits students in the Fall, Winter, and Summer terms, with application deadlines of July 1, November 1, and March 1 respectively.
