The Master of Social Work at the University of Windsor emphasises social justice, advocacy and community partnerships, combining graduate coursework with field experience gained through a supervised practicum. Small class sizes support close engagement between faculty and students throughout the programme. Two entry routes are available: a Regular Track for applicants entering with a four-year honours Bachelor of Arts, completed in 32 months, and an Advanced Track for applicants entering with an honours Bachelor of Social Work, completed in 16 months in recognition of their prior social work training. The degree deepens students' understanding of social work theory and practice and develops advanced knowledge and skills for professional social work roles. Admission is offered for the Fall and Summer terms, with applicants required to meet the university's minimum academic average and, for international applicants, its English language proficiency requirements.
