Aboriginal Construction Certificate

Admission Requirements: Admission requires Grade 12 or equivalent, mature-student status, or a program Chair's recommendation, with a minimum age of 17, plus successful completion of assessment testing (or a Chair's recommendation) and an interview. Preference is given to Aboriginal applicants, particularly those with Vancouver Island First Nations heritage. Applicants must be physically fit and adaptable to working conditions, have good hand-eye coordination, be free of vision, hearing, or respiratory problems, and hold a valid driver's licence if they will operate vehicles or equipment; enrolment is limited, so meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee a seat. No English-language test score or minimum GPA is published for this certificate.
