The Bachelor of Arts in Public Safety is delivered fully online and examines contemporary public safety challenges through an interdisciplinary lens, including topics such as racial profiling, immigration, mental illness, and cybercrime. Students gain experience with professional tools including ArcGIS Pro and data-analytics platforms, and develop critical thinking, leadership, and analytical skills for careers spanning public health, government, law enforcement, and community safety. Course delivery includes both scheduled (synchronous) and self-paced (asynchronous) online formats, with some courses requiring in-person exams. Starting Fall 2027, students may pursue a double major combining Public Safety with Leadership. The Honours program normally takes four years of full-time study to complete, or two years for college graduates entering through the 2+2 transfer pathway, and leads to a Bachelor of Arts degree.
