The Management Certificate covers the fundamentals of managing people and teams within an organizational setting, drawing on courses from the Administrative Studies curriculum. It is an add-on professional certificate completed alongside an undergraduate degree rather than a stand-alone credential, and requires at least 18 credits of ADMS courses that satisfy the certificate's requirements. The certificate is offered by the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies on a full-time basis and admits students in the Fall, Winter, and Summer terms, so students can begin whenever it fits their degree schedule. On completion it is recorded on the transcript alongside the student's primary degree, documenting focused study of management principles and practice, undertaken alongside a York undergraduate degree in another field of study.
