The doctoral programme trains researchers in oral sciences for dentistry and related areas of oral health, combining preclinical and clinical research. Study areas span biomaterials science, oral infectious disease including HPV and periodontology research, probiotics, dental anxiety and fear, oral health promotion, craniomaxillofacial surgery, orthodontics and oral development, and oral pathology and radiology. The curriculum aims to connect fundamental and clinical researchers and strengthen translational work in oral science. As part of the national FINDOS network, the programme maintains links with domestic and international partners.
