Overview

This one-year full-time intensive course is for graduates from varied academic backgrounds, as well as experienced professionals, who want to become accountants. It begins at a foundation level and reaches accounting knowledge comparable to a three- or four-year undergraduate degree. The programme aims to maximise exemptions from professional accountancy examinations, and its taught content is shared with a postgraduate diploma. The award is a Level 9 Master of Business Studies worth 90 ECTS. Entry requires a 2.2 honours bachelor degree with accounting as a major component, and applicants who have progressed in professional exams may also be considered. Graduates usually step into trainee accountant positions.

Admission Requirements: Honours bachelor degree (2.2 or higher) with accounting constituting a major part. Applicants who have made timely progress in their professional examinations may also be considered.
