Overview

This intensive one-year full-time Master of Science in Finance is delivered on campus at Aungier Street for finance graduates who want careers in financial services or the finance function. It gives strong exposure to financial markets and market instruments. The programme carries 90 ECTS credits at NFQ Level 9. Graduates can work in roles that analyse financial and economic information, in corporate finance across many organisations, or in econometric analysis supporting research at a financial institution. Course content begins with Semester 1 modules, and admission depends on academic grades and may take account of work and life experience.

Requirements

Admission Requirements: Honours bachelor degree (2.2) or higher with finance constituting a major part; applicants are assessed for general suitability. Entry does not guarantee a place. Non-native English speakers need IELTS 6.5 overall with nothing less than 6 in each component.
