Overview

This one-year part-time online diploma explains how organisations can adopt AI responsibly, covering how faulty data creates biased systems and how control can slip from people. Learners study ethical compliance, risk assessment of existing and planned AI processes, and how examples such as loan decisions, image recognition and medical needs should be handled. The award is a Level 9 Postgraduate Diploma worth 60 ECTS. Applicants hold a level 8 honours bachelor qualification, graded 2.2 or better, in a discipline involving technical, quantitative or computing subjects, with prior experience weighed for related fields. Admission Requirements: Honours graduates (Level 8) with a 2.2 or higher in a field with technical, numerate or computing knowledge, such as computing, scientific, mathematical, engineering or business IS/MIS.
