Supplies Management Module 1 is aimed at people already working in storekeeping, warehousing, procurement or inventory control who want to run those functions to a recognised standard. Delivered online by the Management Institute for National Development over roughly nine weeks, with evening classes twice a week, the module works through how goods are stored and moved, how procurement and contracts are handled, and how stock levels are forecast and maintained. Internationally recognised supply-chain practices run through the material rather than being treated as an add-on, so participants come away able to compare their own organisation's methods against a wider standard.
