AA/AS in Human Resource Management

This Associate of Science Degree in Human Resource Management is built for people already working in HR, or hoping to move into the field, who want a stronger grounding in managing people well. Delivered online across roughly two years and seven months by the Management Institute for National Development, it is accredited by the University Council of Jamaica and blends the practical side of HR with enough theory to support sound decision-making at an organisational level. The aim is as much about individual and team satisfaction as it is about organisational performance, so the curriculum keeps coming back to how people are led and supported, not just administered. Entry requires five CXC or CSEC passes at General Proficiency grades one to three, or five GCE O-Level passes, including English Language and Mathematics or Accounts; other comparable qualifications may also be considered.
